It's time once again to take a trip in the time machine, ALL the way back to the summer of 2010. Sometime in June, my friend Shane Moeller came to me with an idea to parody a PETA video he had come across. Seeing great potential in the idea, we decided to grab some extra help and make the video a reality. The entire film was shot in the basement of my home with the only camera we could find: my consumer Canon Elura 80. Luckily, the camera had manual settings and I was able to get a rather descent image. The most frustrating part about this shoot was the camera's zoom malfunction. If the zoom trigger was not held back during shooting, the camera would start a slow phantom-zoom. Fighting through a smelly basement and finger cramps, we were able to create a pretty comical parody. The short was finally pulled together in post with Brian Wiedl's voice over and Kenny Sciuito's spooky guitar playing. Enough backstory, enjoy this Blast from the relatively recent past.
